Vintage Patek Philippe Ref.5055 Yellow Gold with Moonphase and Power Reserve Indicator from 1999. A very fine gentleman’s wristwatch with a unique layout and lugs that has come to define the Reference 5055. The elegant piece fronts a subsidiary seconds at 4:30, Moonphase aperture and Date of Month at 5 o’clock, 48-hour Power Reserve indicator at 10:30, all rounded up by a distinctive minute track with lume accompanying the hour markers. Time is marked by applied gold Arabic numerals and between the 3rd and 9th hour, tile markers to provide the complication dial with more breathing space. The lugs are designed as 1 piece with the case, as they call it a lapidated dial. Time is marked by yellow gold baton hands with lume. A manual winding Calibre 240/164 stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark is nestled in a 36mm yellow gold case.
